Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer from the airport and check into the hotel

Your tour begins with a scenic drive from Tbilisi to the picturesque town of Stepantsminda. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling hike of around 10 kilometers (6 miles) to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church. Trek along scenic trails, surrounded by verdant hills and panoramic views. Capture memorable photographs and immerse yourself in the breathtaking vistas of the Kazbegi region. Return to Stepantsminda to rest and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

On the second day, venture deeper into the Kazbegi region with a trek of approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles) from Stepantsminda to the enchanting village of Juta. Traverse lush green valleys, cross crystal-clear streams, and witness the dramatic peaks of the Caucasus Mountains. Immerse yourself in the raw beauty of the landscape as you make your way to Juta, a traditional village known for its stone houses and tranquil atmosphere. Spend the night amidst nature’s splendor, surrounded by awe-inspiring views.. 

Prepare for a challenging yet rewarding day as you embark on a trek of approximately 18 kilometers (11 miles) to the mesmerizing Chaukhi Pass. Marvel at the stunning alpine scenery, jagged peaks, and glacial lakes along the way. As you reach the Chaukhi Pass, be captivated by the breathtaking views of the Chaukhi Massif, also known as the “Georgia Dolomites.” Take your time to absorb the awe-inspiring landscapes before descending back to Juta.
