Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer from the airport and check into the hotel
We start our day with visit of Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia.
Begin with a visit to the iconic Jvari Monastery, offering breathtaking views of the merging Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Next, we explore the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a masterpiece of the Early and High Middle Ages. Admire its historical significance and the sacred relics it houses.
Enjoy a delightful lunch at a traditional Georgian restaurant.
Upon returning to Tbilisi, embark on a guided walking tour in Old Tbilisi. Stroll through the enchanting streets, passing iconic landmarks such as the Peace Bridge, Rike Park, and Narikala Fortress. Discover the rich heritage of this vibrant district as you explore the Sulfur Baths, Chardin district, and picturesque Legvtakhivi Gorge.
Right after breakfast, we leave to the region of wine Kakheti. Our first stop is the charming village of Patardzeuli, where we’ll visit a local wine factory and indulge in the flavors of authentic Georgian wines. Next, we’ll explore the enchanting “City of Love,” Sighnaghi, renowned for its romantic history and countless legends. This picturesque town is nestled against the breathtaking Great Caucasus Mountains, offering stunning views of the surrounding vineyards.
Enjoy a delightful lunch at a traditional Georgian restaurant before we visit the sacred Bodbe Monastery.
This revered site houses the relics of Saint Nino, the Christian educator who introduced Christianity to Georgia.

Our first stop is the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe, where you’ll explore the remarkable rock-hewn structures that date back to the 1st millennium BC. Next, we’ll visit the historic city of Gori, known for its association with the famous Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Dive into the intriguing history as we explore the Stalin Museum and discover more about his life.
Finally, we’ll arrive to the scenic town of Borjomi, renowned for its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings.

Upon arrival in Batumi, we’ll check-in at the hotel before embarking on an enchanting evening walking tour. Explore the city’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere as we visit the renowned landmarks such as the New and Old Seaside Boulevard, the iconic sculpture of Ali and Nino, Piazza Square, Europe Square with the magnificent Medea statue, and the charming Neptune Fountain on Theater Square.
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, we set off to explore Kutaisi. Our first stop is the Bagrati Cathedral, a magnificent structure that served as the main cathedral of the Georgian kingdom under Bagrat III’s reign. Marvel at its grandeur and historical significance as we discover why it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, we’ll venture to the picturesque Motsameta Monastery, nestled in a serene location surrounded by the forests.
Optional: Indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Kutaisi. Take a leisurely walking tour of the charming city, known as the “city of smiles,” and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Finally, we’ll make our way to the rejuvenating resort of Tskaltubo, where we’ll check in to our hotel and unwind in the tranquil surroundings.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel and embark on an extraordinary adventure to the renowned Prometheus Cave. As the largest cave in Georgia, it offers a mesmerizing underground experience. Although only a fraction of the cave is accessible to visitors, the hour-long walk reveals magnificent underground lakes, rivers, and an enchanting atmosphere filled with high humidity. Don’t worry, the bats peacefully soar high above and pose no disturbance to tourists. This visit grants a remarkable opportunity to witness the splendid underground world of this region in all its glory.
